A sculpture/installation artist I always take note and inspiration from is Ed Kienholz. I went to an exhibition at the National Gallery last year which was exhibiting his installation piece "The Hoerengracht". It is a recreation of Amsterdam's red light district. I thought the lighting and atmosphere he uses and created was stunning. These great photos you took really remind me of Kienholz's use of lighting and moody scenery. Also his installation reminds me of the Taxi Driver film's narrative on Jodie Foster's character Iris, which I saw you documented earlier in the blog.
